A rocket making a trip to an inaccessible province planet and transporting a large number of individuals has a breakdown in its rest chambers. Subsequently, two travelers are stirred 90 years early.
The spaceship, Starship Avalon, in its 120-year voyage to an inaccessible state planet known as the "Property Colony" and transporting 5,259 individuals has a glitch in two of its rest chambers. Thus two hibernation units open rashly and the two individuals that arose, Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) and Aurora Dunn (Jennifer Lawrence), are stranded on the spaceship, still 90 years from their goal.
